    I've had UpForDayz on my list of places to work from café at and just got around to it. It did not disappoint. There was sufficient seating for individuals or small groups, and the WiFi was fast and reliable. I ordered the Queen of Green signature juice to sip on while working, and it was everything I wanted in a green juice: slightly sweet but not too sweet, savory, creamy, frothy, and not bitter. One thing worth noting is that despite being remote work friendly, this place is not conducive to taking calls or being in meetings on Zoom. While I was here, it got very noisy between the sounds of the blender, music, construction outside, and occasional trucks and motorcycles roaring by. This did not affect my work, as I didn't have any meetings to attend, but just know it's more of a place to power out some independent work or catch up with a friend or two.

    I had a lovely time at UpForDayz this afternoon. I was looking for a new place to order some lunch and get some work done. While taking in the offerings on the fun, varied menu, the kind and very charming cashier at the register made me feel welcome and hungry. They told me about the strawberry matcha latte (sold!) and they were very patient while I ordered the peppercorn turkey sandwich with many exceptions and substitutions. The woman making my sandwich went out of her way to make sure the sandwich met my expectations. Expectations exceeded! I couldn't get over the freshness of the tasty roll, which tasted like it just came out of the oven. It turns out they make their own rolls and pastries at their Polk Street location. One of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time and I eat a lot of sandwiches. Cheerful comfortable room. So many more items on the menu to try--bowls, breakfast items, shakes, salads....     Super cute cafe on Valencia St. with nice windows allowing for amazing sunlight during the day. I came to meet my friends on a Thursday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The person in the front was helpful with all of my questions for the different drinks I was curious about. I ended up going with the White Shakeratto - which has milk, espresso, and molasses for sweetener. It came out to $7.15 before tip. It was good, but I would want to try to order a diff drink next time I go. Overall 4 stars because service was outstanding, store was clean, and the coffee was good.

    Got the iced mocha with extra chocolate, it only comes in one size, which is the larger coffee cup (probably to make room for ice). They made this to my liking, still chocolatey even after the ice melted. The order process was quick and easy, service was friendly, hardly a wait for my drink to be ready, and the environment was bright and welcoming. Though they have a bit of indoor and outdoor seating, most seats were taken on a Sunday around noon time (we did find a table, but it didn't matter cuz we ended up taking our order to go anyway).
